Collective Bargaining

Effective Collective Bargaining requires knowledge of and experience in:

  • negotiating procedures
  • market rates and conditions
  • labour legislation
  • job values
  • conciliation and arbitration procedure
  • alternative dispute resolution

PMSL will:

  • do the necessary research which will form the basis for analysing proposals and making counter proposals
  • sit in on negotiations to advise industrial relations staff how to handle their own negotiations; or do the negotiations on their behalf
  • represent the company at conciliation, mediation or arbitration.
