Remuneration systems Design

Perhaps the most neglected aspect of Human Resource Management is that of the design of non-negotiated remuneration packages and methods of applying them.
The perception of inequity in salary differentials and distribution within the organisation can cause more dissatisfaction than differences between salary levels outside, compared to inside, the organisation.
The first premise for effective salary administration is the existence of a proper job structure accurately determined through job evaluation and based on realistic remuneration surveys.


PMSL will:

  • recommend the Job Evaluation system best suited to your needs and coach company personnel to be involved in the evaluation
  • carry out a Job Evaluation for the establishment of a proper job structure, preparing Job Descriptions on which this structure must be based
  • conduct a Remuneration Survey of salaries and fringe benefits among comparable companies agreed to by the client
  • design remuneration packages and a salary administration policy and implementation plan to ensure maximum benefits from monies invested in salaries.
