Remuneration systems Design
Perhaps the most neglected aspect of Human
Resource Management is that of the design of non-negotiated
remuneration packages and methods of applying them.
The perception of inequity in salary differentials and distribution
within the organisation can cause more dissatisfaction than
differences between salary levels outside, compared to inside,
the organisation.
The first premise for effective salary administration is
the existence of a proper job structure accurately determined
through job evaluation and based on realistic remuneration
surveys.
